We signed the guy that nailed him in a cheap hit (no question about it) AND we lost our best penalty killer. That said, Brashear is a boost over Orr on the ice. Can't really blame him for the "soreness." It's not like he has a rep for faking injuries. His true worth, assuming enforcers are needed at all (I'm on the fence), will come in more heated rivalry games and toward the end of the regular season -- Flyers, etc. At the time I hated the signing, but mostly (all) because of Betts.
