Nothing But Love

That was my favorite Ranger game of the year.  The team played a 60 minute solid all-around game.  With edge.  There even was an empty netter by Callahan for the cherry on top.  Seriously, not one Ranger played poorly.  Even Redden and Rozsival.  I finally felt after a game that the Rangers have a chance of winning a playoff round (let alone making the playoffs).  I don’t know if I felt this way cause I love seeing Avery play the way he can (and should all the time) or if it was the overall team effort or the lack of overcoaching/line changes or what.  Now that I write it, I think it was all of these things.  Everything I was missing this year was present in this game.  Let’s keep it up against surging Atlanta tonight!

(For the record, my favorite moment of the year actually was not in this game.  It was Del Zotto laying Ruutu out behind the net the other day, rather than he letting himself get hit.  Gnarly.)
