The Rangers always seem to get up for the Capitals.  And boy did they last game — 4 PP goals!!!  Probably the best/most exciting loss in quite some time.  I think they thrive off of this loss and build a little streak, at least of good play.  That said, they have a tendency to relax on the PP after a good game (if you can remember back that far).  Torts, please, keep the units as they were — for a number of games.  Let them build chemistry.

I feel bad for Voros.  He’s done nothing but give his best, and be a true player when he was a permannent healthy scratch.  Now he gets supplanted by Prust, seemingly.  Tough break.

I have to give Sather props for his trade and non-trades.  As bad as he is at making but free agent signings, he’s pretty good at salvaging something in CYA trades.  So he’s got that.  Thank God Sather did not mortgage the farm to get Kovalchuk, or any other player.

Loved the idea of using 5 forwards on the PP.  We just were not getting PP scoring.  Hated the timing of it, with the team playing well against a top-5 Kings club and Olli new to the team.  Obviously they got scored on and lost momentum and the game.  I raise this now, only cause I would be in favor of returning to 5 forwards if the PP starts to struggle once again.

How long to Olli stops hustling each game and says something dumb to the media?  2 weeks?  March 1?
