Hell Yes!

There shall be one game to rule them all.  Order your lucky food and set the DVR as a back-up.  At 3 p.m. Sunday the Rangers season gets defined.

All because after an inspiring pre-game speech by Steven McDonald (I was wrong, but happily so, as Callahan took the Extra Effort Award, not Lundqvist) the Rangers came out of the gate like gangbusters.  Until 40 seconds in that is.  But the Rangers gamely overcame Staal’s turnover — a mistake so horrible and unusual it is hard to do anything but sigh and move on.  Not even worth commenting on further.  The overall effort was the effort the team had to had.  I just wish they played like this from Day 1.  If so, we’d be fighting for a 3 seed now.

Christensen was electric again.  Given our cap issues and dirth at center, he is a must sign this off-season.

Carcillo and Hartnell are punks.  You cannot convince me otherwise.

Hartnell might be a punk, but the hit that lead to the fight was 100% clean.

Sadly, agree completely. Pronger’s last night was dirty (even if debatably legal).

I think the refs let a lot go last night, which I liked. It seemed liked the Flyers took advantage of that more than your boys did. But with the stakes so high, how could they not. Every penalty that was actually called was deserved too.
