Rangers’ National Telecasts

For all of you that do not live in the New York area, here are the games of the New York Rangers‘ that you can look forward to. And for all of you who already are capable of watching the MSG network, here’s the a list of the games that are Sam Rosen-less.
There are five games on NBC that the Rangers play in and all of them will be watchable in High Definition. Like every year, NBC’s coverage of the NHL doesn’t start until New Years Day, so all games take place in 2011.
Sun. Feb. 13th, PIT @ NYR – TBD
Sun. Feb. 20th, PHI @ NYR – TBD
Sun. Mar. 6th, PHI @ NYR – TBD
Sun. Mar. 20th, PIT vs. NYR – 12:30PM (ET)
Sun. Apr. 3rd, PHI vs. NYR – 3:00PM (ET)
As you can see, the Rangers split their five games between two teams, the Penguins and the Flyers. Jumping on the Crosby-train, NBC has given the most games to the Pittsburgh Penguins (six). That’s also counting the Winter Classic at Heinz Field. Tied for second are the Rangers, Chicago Blackhawks, and the Philadelphia Flyers, all with five. No shock there as that covers the previous Stanley Cup competitors and the biggest market in the America. One of these years, they’ll give the Broadway Blueshirts a Winter Classic. Maybe after Crosby’s 4th outdoor game. Notice the games at Madison Square Garden are To Be Determined times.

Here is a table of all the games the Rangers play on the Versus Network. It is not determined yet as to which of these, if not all, will be in High Def.
On a side note, does anyone else find the announcers on Versus more annoying and dumb than anywhere else?

Here’s a list of Ranger games on The Sports Network (TSN). All of these games are in HD. The home opener is not on this list which makes me assume that it will solely be on the MSG channel.
