“Can You Hear Us?” Makes Headlines

What started as a request by the New York Rangers blog for a chant for Bruce Boudreau to “hear” during Game 4 ended up being a surreal moment during an otherwise crushing 4-3 double OT loss last night. The chant’s origination was given credit to myself and another follower of the NYR blog before the game and made its way throughout the Garden crowed last night late during the 2nd period. The chants were so loud that both the Versus and MSG broadcasters had to acknowledge them during the air as well as in the MSG Post-Game show.

While I wasn’t there to actually start them, I’m glad my Rangers brethren carried out my will in spirit last night. I did send tweets to Garden Vision to be displayed at the Garden but who knows who or how it got started. Along with the NYR blog giving another plug to myself and the website this morning, other publications picked up the chant as well in their articles which are listed below:

For those of you still in a major depression from last night’s horrors, here’s the video of the chant for you to help cope with the pain and prepare for must-win Game 5 on Saturday.
