Blue Line Station has been doing a series called “Grading The Rangers” where we summarize each player’s season and give them a grade. It would be extremely ignorant and insensitive to do that for Boogaard, in light of recent events. So instead, let’s look at some Boogeyman highlights. His tenure here might have been short, but he definitely provided some great moments in his short time here. What I can’t show you is highlights of him off the ice, where he was apparently a great guy. Always working with children, always being friendly, etc. Nonetheless, here’s the best of The Boogeyman:
One-sided fight with Trevor Gillies
Clear win over Steve MacIntyre
Boogaard staring into the soul of Tim Jackman
And of course, the goal that will live in infamy
