For months it’s been speculated, rumored, discussed, etc where Jaromir Jagr would end up this offseason. Would be in the KHL again? Would it be back in the NHL? Would the Rangers bring him back for a reunion tour? Well, it can finally be said exactly where Jagr is going and it is NOT the Rangers.

Darren Dreger of TSN reports the terms are one-year, $3.3 million for Jagr. [Twitter]
Bob McKenzie, who’s been a very busy man today, tweets that per sources, Jaromir Jagr has been signed with the Philadelphia Flyers. Terms of the deal have not been disclosed at the moment.
I, for one, am glad the Jagr ordeal is over. It was a ridiculous dog-and-pony show to begin with. I’m sure ideally he wanted to go back to the Penguins. But, when they wised up and decided not to engage in a bidding war to sign the aging star, Jagr had to go elsewhere. The Rangers were never serious candidates to sign him, it was pure speculation.
I wonder what the terms of the deal are since they are rumored to be “higher than expected.”
Now it begs the question, when the Rangers face the Flyers for the first time next season, do you cheer or boo him?
