BlueLines for BlueShirts: July 27th

Folks, I’ve fallen under a crippling spell: writers block. But, it’s more than a block. It feels like a friggin’ dam, bigger than Hoover. It doesn’t help that the NHL is still roughly 2 months out from training camp, either. The NFL ended their lockout and for a Giants fan like myself, I couldn’t be happier. A season without football just wouldn’t feel right to me.

But I digress, the one thing Rangers’ fans have to keep their eyes on this week is the fate of Ryan Callahan and whether or not he signs a new deal or goes to arbitration Thursday. I’m not worried yet and neither should you. It may come down again to another 11th hour-type deal like we saw with Brandon Dubinsky. Stay tuned…
