Rangers Add AHL Muscle, Sign Andre Deveaux

Andre Deveaux

No, this isn’t a test, we actually have some news to report – The Rangers have signed former Toronto Maple Leafs center Andre Deveaux.

Deveaux, 27, spent last season with the Chicago Wolves of the AHL, posting 23-23-46 and 194 penalty minutes. It’s a minor move that sees the CT Whale add toughness and a little scoring depth to the roster. With the likes of  Carl Hagelin potentially playing for the Whale next year, it makes sense to add some muscle to the ranks at this point. And hey, it appears he can even play a little.
