As you may or may not know, former Ranger Aaron Voros is back with the organization after signing a PTO (personal tryout agreement) with the Connecticut Whale back on November 16. Apparently, it was Voros who called GM Glen Sather and asked for an opportunity to try out and Sather gave him a shot.
Here’s Voros talking to Bob Crawford, the “Voice of the Whale,” about his feelings on returning to the Rangers organization and more:
- Voros with that dry sense of humor, name-dropping the Kardashians. All in all, it’s a solid move for the Whale and a sign of good will from Glen Sather. Voros was a good solider during his tenure with the Rangers. Just don’t expect Voros to be up with the Rangers anytime soon other than to hang out with Sean Avery and Brad Richards.
