The Rangers were asked by MSG as well as various reporters their predictions for the Super Bowl, and, playing in New York, everybody predicted a victory for the Giants and were going to root them on. Everybody, of course, execpt Boston native Brian Boyle, who predicted a Patriots victory. But the Giants came on top against the Pats once again because that’s what the G-Men do. And the guys made sure Brian Boyle will never forget it.
Give Boyle credit for following through with it and putting on the Giants’ gear. Though I don’t know how much of a choice he would have had. Tortorella, a self-proclaimed “die hard Giants fan,” might have forced him to do some bag skates. Nonetheless, I think Brian will have no complaints about the New Yorkers coming on top on the ice.
Oh, and one more for good measure.
