Knicks and Jeremy Lin will be coming back to Time Warner cable customers soon. Agreement reached. Story on nytimes.com shortly.

It’s pathetic that it took this long and that we have to write about a story like this in midst of one of the best time periods in New York sports history, but nonetheless, it is important. The New York Times’ Howard Beck, who covers the Knicks, says that the bitter fight between James Dolan and Time Warner Cable is about to be resolved, meaning those with TWC will finally be able to watch MSG channels and thus have access to Rangers and Knicks games (among the other things MSG shows).
It was absolutely ridiculous that the two sides could no reach an agreement and specifically that James Dolan had no problem rendering a significant percentage of Rangers and Knicks fans unable to watch games. But finally that is all in the past.
