Let’s Watch Glen Sather Somewhat Awkwardly Celebrate Tonight’s Win Against Toronto

Glen Sather is not on camera very much. In fact, in four hour-long episodes of 24/7, which featured virtually anybody and everybody associated with either the Rangers or Flyers, the most we saw of the New York Ranger’s President and General Manager was a few seconds of part of his face when the Rangers were celebrating their Winter Classic win. But tonight, CBC captured Glen Sather celebrating the Rangers’ shootout victory in Toronto. And it was… interesting.

He does some fist hovering thing with somebody (video coach Jerry Dineen maybe?) and then when Assistant GM Jim Schoenfeld extends his left hand to Sather, Slats grabs it with his left hand. That results in some sort of awkward shake/grab thing. Ultimately, Sather has built a good team and can celebrate its success in any way he wants. But perhaps John Tortorella would like to show Slats how to celebrate a victory more intensely:

There it is.
