Three Rangers Pre-Season Games Cancelled Due To Lockout

Everyone saw this coming eventually but the league has cancelled every pre-season game through September 30th. The Rangers were slated to have three games by September 30th. They were supposed to play the Devils twice, and the Flyers.

This is the first thing that has happened as a result of the lockout, and it can only get worse from here. I’m sure both sides will meet before they need to start canceling games. The deadline for when they need to start cancelling games would be right around the beginning of October with the season supposed to start October 11th.

As a hockey fan this is unsurprising and I saw this from a mile away. I will begin to panic when they start canceling regular season games. The NHLPA doesn’t want that to happen but at this point, but they are going to have to cave a bit into the owners demands if they want an intact season.
