Silence Is Golden

Sorry about the lack of content around these parts. Hurricane Sandy came and I lost power for week. Luckily for me there’s no damage to where I’m staying and all the people I care about are safe and healthy. In the end that’s all that really matters. Also, happy election day to everyone. Doesn’t really matter to me who you vote for so long as you exercise your right to vote. People died for people in this country to have that right, and people in other countries are fighting for that right as we speak.

Anyway, the NHL and NHLPA has taken to media silence. They don’t want any fanfare to disrupt the bargaining process and I bet they regret they didn’t do this sooner. Personally I’d ask they take this one step further and tell both sides to go to some deserted island and bargain. I’d give them a laptop with only microsoft word and no internet access. I’d also leave them with a passcode protected Iphone and they only get that one emergency call to tell me to pick them up, because they hammered out a deal.

While it’s frustrating not to hear any news, it’s even more frustrating to hear both sides talk about how far away they are from a deal. I wish both sides wouldn’t say anything until a deal is done.

Anyway, I hope your all having a good night and if there’s a break in negotiations or any real Rangers news you’ll see it here.
