The NHL and NHLPA met today and are set to meet again tomorrow. While we don’t know if any progress was made, seeing both sides meet is nice.
Five Rangers took part in today’s talks. Those players were Ryan Callahan, Marian Gaborik, Brad Richards, Jeff Halpern, and Marc Staal. Not the worst five some you could bring up for these meetings.
I’m still holding out hope something can get hammered out between the two sides but I’m not getting any more hopeful as days go by. Once we hit December it’ll be really time to panic. But for right now we all need to take a deep breath because games are cancelled till December anyway. I highly doubt we see something get done before December.
