Deal Imminent?

There apparently has been major movement towards a deal in the last 24 hours. Players and owners are suddenly on the same planet, speaking the same language. My only question is why didn’t this happen a few months ago?

Hey that’s beside the point as we may have a hockey season this year ladies and gentleman. I’m still cautiously optimistic, because it’s really now or never. Either it’s done now or not at all.

I’d like to see as many regular season games as possible so long as it’s realistic. Last year’s NBA season was insane as it seemed teams were playing every single night. For a physical sport like hockey you can’t do that. The quality of the game will suffer, players will fatigue, and more injuries will occur.

So let’s just all hold our breaths and pray for a deal.
