Nothing To Write Home About Today

So today was another wasted opportunity to move closer to a deal. While the NHLPA met with a mediator nothing happened on the NHL’s side. Some hardcore negotiating huh?

I really don’t see how this CBA doesn’t get hammered out at the 11th hour at this point. Games are cancelled through December 30th. It really doesn’t make a difference for the league at this point if an agreement comes about tomorrow or early January. They’re not losing anything more at this point. 48 games is the most and the only thing we can hope for.

Stay strong folks. I think there’ll be hockey this year.
