The opening night schedule has been leaked out, and the Rangers will play the Bruins at TD Garden on the 19th. There is no set start time to the game, but the game is for sure happening.

Another rumor is the Rangers home opener will be the next day against Pittsburgh. This is just a rumor and may not be true.

What a way to open the season though if both these games are true. You have a game in Boston which is always heated, and then an always exciting game against Crosby and the boys.

With only in conference games this year, there will be no place for the Rangers to hide. Every game is going to be treated like a must win game. Very exciting, but at the same time very scary.

I’m so glad hockey is back.
