Michael Del Zotto Signs A Two Year Deal

Michael Del Zotto has signed a new contract today, and has taken a medical examination. The medical examination is necessary for Del Zotto to play this season.

The deal is definitely for two years, but the salary details are not out yet. I’m going to venture and say Del Zotto “caved” to Sather and accepted a deal around $2.5 million.

I’m glad this debacle is over, as the Rangers can now turn their focus to the upcoming season.

When the contract details are officially released I’ll be sure to post them on this article, so be sure to check back.

UPDATE: The deal is for $2.55 million per season. I for one am definitely not surprised. Good move for Del Zotto to sign a very fair deal.
