New York Rangers Training Camp Special Drinking Game

MSG today is giving us a Rangers training camp special. Being that I don’t see this as being exciting at all, I’m creating a drinking game to play while they play. 11:30 AM may be a little bit too early in the day to do this, so maybe you’ll want to DVR it and watch at a more appropriate time.

ONE DRINK:

-John Tortorella drops an F bomb.

-The playoff series against the Devils is mentioned.

-A current NHL player who does not play for the Rangers is mentioned. (Bonus drink: They didn’t play for the Rangers in the past.

-The 1994 championship is mentioned.

-If a player falls down during a drill.

-Henrik Lundqvist takes helmet off and his hair is in perfect condition.

-Every time they mention the Rick Nash trade.

TWO DRINKS:

-Stu Bickel gets his shot on goal.

-They mention the other player the Rangers acquired in the Nash trade, Steven Delisle.

-If there’s some sort of skills competition.

-Sam Rosen says that there’s “Good pace” anytime throughout the show.

-If they don’t go into any detail on the lockout.

-If Kenny Albert’s voice cracks.

-Dave Maloney is mentioned as the youngest captain in Rangers history.

THREE DRINKS:

-If they show Brandon Dubinsky or Artem Anisimov as Rangers in past game footage.

-When they get off the ice, Brian Boyle and Michael Del Zotto do their “secret handshake”.

-A player throws a gatorade cooler.

-A fight breaks out in the practice.

-They power play unit scores.

-Glen Sather lights up a cigar.

CHUG:

-James Dolan is interviewed.

-Arron Asham and Mike Rupp combine for a goal.

-Dan Girardi’s son Landon is shown.

-Mark Messier shows up and cries.

-Any player rides the zamboni. (chug another drink if Torts rides it)
