The Rangers take on the Flyers tonight at 7 PM.

Quick hits on starting lineups and such:

  • Flyers will be without Scott Hartnell (Injury), Brayden Schenn (suspension), and Danny Briere (suspension).
  • Chris Kreider is a healthy scratch tonight.
  • Stu Bickel is playing forward. Again, unfortunately.
  • Kris Newbury was called up from the Whale and will be in the lineup tonight.
  • The King is in net for the Rangers, and I’m assuming Bryzgalov is in net for the Flyers.
  • Tom Sestito and Jody Shelley are in the lineup for the Flyers.

I’m baffled by one thing though. If the Rangers want to send Kreider to the AHL to develop him, that’s fine by me. But how can you justifiably play Stu Bickel at forward and seat Kreider in the press box?

Five Questions time:

1) Do the Rangers win their 9th straight game against the Flyers?

2) Do Mike Rupp and Jody Shelley renew their beef from last season?

3) Over/Under on ice time for Stu Bickel: 3 minutes.

4) How many goals do the Rangers score?

5) Does the Nash-Richards-Gaborik line get broken up?
