Chris Kreider Sent Down

Chris Kreider was sent back down to the Connecticut Whale today.

The Rangers reportedly want Kreider to play in games instead of watching them from the press box.

I had a feeling it would come down to either Chris Kreider or JT Miller staying up and the nod went to Miller. Overall I think Miller has more to offer the team right now. He can play wing, he can play center, and his awareness without the puck is greater than Kreider’s at the moment and right now that’s what John Tortorella cares about.

I don’t think this will be the last we see of Chris Kreider. I think he will be back with the team before the playoffs start.
