The Rangers take on the Canadiens tonight. Here’s some news and notes.

  • Rick Nash was placed on IR. He can be taken off tomorrow if he’s ready.
  • Christian Thomas was called up from the Whale and will play tonight.
  • Michael Del Zotto is a game time decision. He’s banged up from the Senators game.
  • Marc Staal is a game time decision. He has the flu.
  • Both Staal and Del Zotto skated this morning, so that’s good news.
  • Arron Asham is out tonight again.
  • Steve Eminger is back with the Rangers.
  • Martin Biron is net tonight.

Well that’s quite a bit of news now isn’t it?

Here’s my 5 questions for tonight:

  1. Are you concerned about Rick Nash?
  2. Where do you put Christian Thomas in the lineup?
  3. Will tonight’s game be terrible for the Rangers?
  4. Do you know the last time the Rangers won in regulation at Montreal?
  5. If Del Zotto or Staal can’t play do you put in Eminger or Bickel? (I’ll be very sad if both Staal and Del Zotto can’t play)
