The New York Rangers can clinch a playoff spot with a win tonight against the Florida Panthers.  Rangers currently hold the 7th spot since they currently hold the tie break with Ottawa with 20 wins not in a shootout to the Sens 19.  Rangers will clinch the 8th spot with a Win and a Jets loss.

Rangers can move from the 7th spot to the 6th spot with a win over the Panthers and an Islanders loss to Carolina.  Rangers hold the tie breaker over the Islanders if they finish tied.

Important games are being played tonight.  Keep an eye on the score board while the Rangers visit the Panthers.
