Cross another one off on the list. With players setting to go into arbitration at the end of the day today, Glen Sather and the Rangers have been busy making sure none of his eligible players reach that point.

Justin Falk was one of those players that could of filed for arbitration, him signing a year deal at $975,000 made him think otherwise.

Falk brings the Rangers ever closer to that cap that they are dreading, with the Rangers now needing to sign Stepan and Zuccarello, something has to be done to absorb the salaries that both are going to take.

Falk, was acquired from the Rangers during the draft where they sent Benn Ferriero and a 6 round draft pick in next years draft.

Now, the question is will Zuccarello file for arbitration, which many feel will be the case. Time will tell.
