Derick Brassard, acquired in the Marian Gaborik trade, made an immediate impact for the Rangers, and seemed to rekindle his career as well.
A former first round draft pick, Brassard never really found the magic and play making ability in Columbus, and did have a public feud with former Blue Jackets coach, and now current Rangers assistant coach Scott Arniel.
He flourished with linemates Ryan Callahan and Carl Hagelin, and is expected to be the opening day second line center, and will play with the two again.
Reports also suggest that he may be on the third line, and that is all to be answered based on where Alain Vigneault makes Brad Richard play, as there are talks with him being at left wing, or playing center.
Answers like that will be coming to fruition near opening night, but we ask you, how many points should we expect from Brassard, his first full year in New York?
