As the regular season slowly rolls toward us, we keep you busy with our daily news piece. Keeping track of the latest happenings around the entire league.

Latest News

  • The Edmonton Oilers have signed Sam Gagner to a three-year deal, avoiding arbitration.
-The deal will pay Gagner $4.8 mill a year. I feel that this is too much for him. Yeah he is a good player but he doesn’t deserve that much money. Will they have the room to re-sign other key players when the issue arises?
  • Chicago Blackhawks players continue their individual days with the Stanley Cup.
-Many players take the Cup to their hometowns. I would too, but I would also go swimming with it, and get a seperate bed for it to stay in.
