- Jaromir Jagr stays in the Eastern Conference, signs with Devils.
-This is news that everybody has heard by now, but it’s still pretty big news. After explaining that he saw “black” in his NHL future, I thought he was going to retire. But nothing can stop this guy. The worst thing about it is that he signed with the Rangers’ most hated rival.
- Reports: The Scotiabank Saddledome will be ready for the preseason after the venue was affected by heavy flooding in Alberta, Canada.
-This is great news for Flames fans, and hockey fans alike. If you saw the pictures floating around social media outlets, the flood water was all the way up to the skyboxes. It’s a good thing we will be seeing hockey played in the Saddledome come preseason time.
- Canucks goaltender Roberto Luongo switches agents.
-The show continues in Vancouver. Many people thought he would be traded or let go, but instead, the Canucks decide to trade Cory Schneider and keep Luongo. He has clearly shown before that he is unhappy with his contract. But it looks like Vancouver will keep him for the long haul. Good luck with Torts.
