This jersey introduced during the 2010 season, represents the heritage of Ranger history. The jersey where if you needed to know when the team was created, what numbers are retired in Ranger history, look no further. This jersey will have no problem telling you.

The numbers of Giacomin, Gilbert, Howell, Graves, Leetch, Richter, Messier, and Bathgate inside the bottom part of the jersey.

“Established 1926” on the neck lining of the jersey. During the Rangers 85th anniversary during the 2010 season, a patch commemorating that season was sewn to the jersey.

Future rangers, like Callahan and Lundqvist, will more than likely see their numbers added to this jersey once they retire as they are what this team’s tradition is about; hard work and dedication.

When the Rangers have a Sunday home game, the jersey goes on. When they are at home against an Original Six foe, the jersey goes on. When the Rangers want to look their Sundays best, the jersey goes on. And is my favorite Rangers alternate, closely beating out the Liberty jersey as that still warms my heart (first Rangers jersey I owned).

This is another jersey where we will never see the team wear in the playoffs as they wear their traditional uniforms in the playoffs. But it is another popular one amongst Ranger fans.
