Latest Updates

  • Ottawa Senators head coach Paul MacLean stated Friday that he and the organization are in no rush to name a new captain. Forward Daniel Alfredsson WAS their captain for a whopping 13 seasons, but he departed Ottawa to sign with the Detroit Red Wings, who are poised to make another run at the Cup. ”We’ve done a lot of preliminary talk about it, but we’re going to let the process — it’s going to be a process, but I don’t think it’s going to be a difficult one — and we just have to take the time and get through it. … I’m not going to put a timeline on it. When we make the decision that’s the day it’s going to be,” MacLean said.
  • The Minnesota Wild have unveiled their new road uniform for the upcoming 2013-14 campaign. At first glance, it doesn’t look much different than their old one, but if you look closer you will see that they changed the design of the logo just a tad, and the material has changed.
