With training camp and preseason finally kicking off, the New York Rangers seem to be ready for a brand new season and maybe a few new faces will come along for the bumpy ride and earn a prestigious spot that many players wish they had – a spot on the New York Rangers. Today, we’ll be looking at a few of the Rangers top prospects as we head into the new year. Aside from looking at players like Chris Kreider and J.T. Miller who we got to see a glimpse of over the season or so, let’s instead look at some guys that are in the system and a little less known…yet. Who will be the next big thing for this team?
