Tonight, the team travels back across the border and will end up in Las Vegas, Nevada for a contest against the Los Angeles Kings. The team looks to recover from last night’s 5-0 blowout loss to the Vancouver Canucks. The rangers are 1-4 in the preseason thus far and look to end it 2-4 against a quality opponent.

In other news, it was announced last night that New York Rangers captain, Ryan Callahan, is cleared for contact however will NOT be playing in thursday’s contest against the Coyotes, as per coach Alain Vigneault. The good news, even though he won’t be prepared for the opener, Callahan and recently signed Derek Stepan will be prepared to go for the month of October, ahead of some expectations.
