According to Pat Leonard via Alain Vigneault, Ryan Callahan is said to make his season debut Monday against the Los Angeles Kings if the healing process goes well through the weekend. This is just what the Rangers needed after their first loss of the season against the Phoenix Coyotes. While they did not look totally on the same page last night, some would say there were positives that could carry onto the next game. Although, Callahan may not be the answer to a team who is still new to the system, he is still a big part of the team and it will only help them get through these growing pains sooner than later. There is no word where Callahan will play, but you might consider him on the second line, unless Vigneault wants to try a new first line other than the Nash-Stepan-Richards line again.
