Breaking: Rick Nash out for rest of game

At 2:32 in the first period, San Jose Shark defenseman Brad Stuart elbowed Rick Nash in the head. While a hit to the head is dangerous no matter what, Nash seemed a bit dazed, and skated off the ice to end his shift. He would play the rest of the first period, but when the second period started, Joe Micheletti noticed that one man was missing from the bench.

They quickly went to John Giannone and he confirmed what we were hoping not to be true. Rick Nash would not return to tonights game after that elbow to the head by Brad Stuart. Is it a concussion? Is it just for precaution. Either way, not a good sign for the Rangers, as he has been skating hard, and close to getting his first goal.
