Two games were on tap last night, and while the Rangers beat the Kings 3-1, in an interesting game, that saw an interesting goal, the game of the night was the Devils-Oilers game. Read Pucks and Pitchforks for the Devils reaction, which is nothing short of depressing. Tough loss, but they’ll have a chance to bounce back as Corey Schneider gets the call tonight against his former team, the Vancouver Canucks. It should be an interesting game as besides Schneider’s return, we get to see Peter DeBoer, and John Tortorella meet again. And we all know how much they miss one another.

The Rangers on the other hand, have a chance to go for two in a row, as they go to San Jose and face the Sharks. Go to Blades of Teal to read an article that writer Franklin Steele wrote with my help, almost like a getting to know your opponent. Also a good place to read up on the Sharks if you like to learn about the Western Conference team.

After tonight’s game, the Rangers will have a day off before facing the Ducks. They’ll finally inch closer to the Eastern time zone, as on Saturday they’ll face the St. Louis Blues.
