Well, if things couldn’t get worse to worse, last night did for the Rangers. A 6-0 loss to the Ducks with a tough Blues team on the way? Well, this long road trip could get worse now could it? With Nash being sent home for at least one more game, and Hagelin still on the shelf, the injury bug has hit the Rangers early.

But fear not, the Rangers will be fine. And I think that soon all this will be just normal growing pains.

We have nothing to worry about.

In other news, JS Giguere, Jonas Hiller and Jonathan Bernier each recorded shut outs last night for their respective teams. While Steven Stamkos had a hat trick last night against the Panthers.

And how about Marian Gaborik, scoring a goal last night, and assisting on two. Plays on a line with former Ranger Brandon Dubinsky, who notched his first of the year and youngster Cam Atkinson. Looks like Gaborik is comfortable in Columbus.

And the Avalanche, yes those Avalanche with Patrick Roy as coach, are 4-0. Let that sink in for a moment.

Also, Brad Richard’s favorite goon Patrick Kaleta will get an in person hearing today after his illegal cross check to the head of Blue Jackets defenseman Jack Johnson. Also joining in on a hearing, though by phone, Vancouver defenseman Alex Edler, who hit rookie sensation Tomas Hertl high with a check during their game last night.

Not announced in getting a hearing but could, Mike Fisher who destroyed Maple Leafs defenseman Cody Franson with a check during their game last night. Blood was left on the ice from where the incident happened. Wasn’t good.
