Good Morning Blue Line family! It’s time for today’s roundup of stories. Here are some news stories from around the web that you may enjoy reading as you prepare for tonight’s game in Washington DC against the Capitals.

Marc Staal is traveling with the team on this road trip, that is great news! It is unclear if or when he might play at this time. He is now day to day. Here’s a story about it.

The Rangers have two prospects playing in the World Junior Championships this year Brady Skjei for the USA and Pavel Buchenevic for Russia. Yesterday Team USA beat the Czech Republic read here. Russia also trounced Norway, read here.

We all know how certain writers like to cover the Rangers and we take what they say with a grain of salt. For those who like to read things that are simply written to stir up controversey, you may enjoy this bit of light reading. Don’t shoot the messenger, PLEASE!

For those who like you Ranger news on the go, John Giannone has a great podcast. It’s worth every minute of your time spent to listen. You can find it in podcasts under the title “Bleeding Blueshirts”.

For those of you who like to support past players in their current endeavers, you should check out Kevin Weekes’ clothing line. It is called “I have no 5 hole” and features some really great items. From shirts to hats in sizes from youth to adult he has your hockey needs covered. He has Rangers’ gear as well as Olympic gear for both Canada and the USA. You can see all his merchandise here. Tell him Blue Line Station we sent you!
