New York Rangers’ Blueshirts Daily:1/28/14

Good morning everyone! We’ve got a little lull in the excitement right now due to the spacing of the Stadium Series games. Never the less, here are your New York Rangers’ news links for today.

It’s the year of free agency and contracts for the Rangers. With all the uncertainty floating around, it’s good to read about positive contract discussions. Here’s a little bit about Mats Zuccarello and Ryan Callahan.

Yesterday I mentioned Martin Brodeur complaining about the ice at Yankee Stadium. Here’s one story about his complaining. All I can say is “suck it up buttercup” even squirts don’t complain about the ice.  Cory Schneider didn’t seem to have a problem out there and Henrik Lundqvist owned up to playing poorly in the first period.

Here’s a different perspective on the Stadium Series games. You might find it interesting. You may agree or disagree but it’s interesting none the less.

The Rangers have a scheduled to practice at Yankee Stadium today while the New York Islanders have elected not to have a practice at the Stadium after playing last night.

As is always the case when there are no games, news is hard to come by. We’ve got some stories coming up for you so stay tuned. Until then, enjoy your day and “Let’s Go Rangers”!
