Good day New York Ranger family!!!!!!!! How was that win last night? Beating the Islanders 2-1 at Yankee Stadium, completing the sweep, and now carrying the best all time win percentage at the  stadium. Let’s recap yesterdays’ news.

Daniel Carcillo was credited with the game winning goal last night. In when the camera found him, he looked to be in as much shock as everyone else. Have a read through the Sports Illustrated story.

Katie Strang got her part of the coverage done. What do you think about her presentation?

Henrik Lundqvist seems to always know just how to say what needs to be said in just the right way. It’s sometimes hard to believe that English isn’t his first language.

Marc Staal was awarded the “Broadway Hat” for last night’s performance. After seeming to be only a shell of himself, it was good to see.

Before the game, this is what the other side of the ice had to  say. Seems like a fair assessment.

While this isn’t New York Rangers news, it’s important to note that Ben Scrivens, newly acquired Edmonton Oilers goalie, set a new record for highest number of saves in a regular season shutout last night with 59. The portion of the game played after the end of the Stadium Series was amazing. He wasn’t making easy saves against the San Jose Sharks, he worked hard for that shut-out.

We are running a little behind schedule today. There have been a few things going on behind the scenes. Keep an eye out for some more news coming from the site.
