Good morning! Here is your rundown on the Olympics news.

Yesterday Team Canada announced John Tavares suffered a season ending knee injury. Preliminary reports are an MCL tear and/or meniscus damage. Tavares will reportedly remain with the team in Sochi, Russia for as long as they remain in the tournament before returning to New York to be seen by training staff.

For those who haven’t heard, or for those who want to hear it again, the Russians are out of the men’s hockey tournament. Team Finland handled the Russians right out of the tournament.

Reporters have a habit of asking the same questions in different ways because they either don’t listen to each other or they are just looking for a certain reaction, Rangers’ fans know this first hand from “Brooksie”. After Russia’s loss to Finland, Zinetula Bilyaletdinov met the press as a coach and former player. His frustration with the press and the loss made for great news.
