Rangers Daily Poll: 03/01/14

Good afternoon New York Rangers fans! It’s a new day and more importantly a new month and we here at Blue Line Station have decided to treat you to a new daily feature! We call it the Daily poll, and it’s simply what it says, everyday we will come up with a poll on any given Rangers related topic and we want you to vote on the topic!

Today’s topic is one that Rangers fans have tackled for the last few years, and this season is no different. Are the New York Rangers ready to be called legitimate contender for the Stanley Cup? There are many factors that play into this, such as the play of Henrik Lundqvist and Rick Nash to be specific. There’s also the idea of whether the team’s offense can get going and try and close the gap between Nash and the rest of the team. However there’s another factor to be considered here, and that is the Rangers have one of, if not the, best defensive squad in the National Hockey League. However, you can read into more detail about it here.

Anyway, vote in the poll below! Let us know if you think the Rangers are contenders or not!

Are the New York Rangers worthy of being called Stanley Cup Contenders?
