Rangers Daily Poll 3/5/2014

Hello New York Rangers fans and what a busy trade deadline day this has been for the team! Today it was announced that the Rangers traded captain Ryan Callahan and two draft picks for Tampa Bay Lightning Captain Martin St. Louis. Later in the day the Rangers traded a fifth round pick to the Vancouver Canucks for defenseman Raphael Diaz.. So today’s question is obvious, are you happy with the Rangers moves at the trade deadline?

General Manager Glen Sather had a very busy day today, early this morning til sometime just before noon he was going back and forth with Lightning GM Steve Yzerman, and finally the news broke to what could have been one of the biggest trades of the day in a captain swap for the Rangers and Lightning. After all had settled in to Rangers fans in “Rangerstown” it seemed that Sather was done for the day, but Sather is as Sather does and surprised everybody by trading for Diaz in the final minutes before the deadline. The Diaz acquisition was meant to add defensive depth to the lineup, so that if a defense man were to become injured there would be an NHL level player to replace him.

So there’s the question for today’s poll, do you like the Ranger moves or not? Answer below!
