Rangers Daily Poll 3/7/14

Hello New York Rangers fans and happy game day to you all! Tonight the Rangers take on the Carolina Hurricanes in Carolina. As announced early this morning by Rangers beat writers, forward Mats Zuccarello is back in the lineup and there has been some speculation about whether or not he should be put on the line with Brad Richards and Martin St. Louis and form an offensive line that would create a lot of offensive production.

The way the Rangers lines are currently set up is Carl Hagelin and Marty flanking Richards, and Benoit Pouliot and Zuccarello flanking Derick Brassard. The idea seems to be to switch Zuccarello and Hagelin and see if that can’t make Richards’ line the highest scoring line on the Rangers. The positive is that it would give the Rangers two legitimate scoring lines (1st and 2nd) and turn the third line into the speed line that will wear out other teams’ defense. The decision of course is ultimately up to Rangers head coach Alain Vigneault, but it’s an interesting idea to think about.

So what do you think Ranger fans? Should Zuccarello and Hagelin switch places and give the Rangers lineup a new look? Vote in the poll below and of course make sure you watch the game tonight!
