Rangers Daily Poll 3/8/14

Good afternoon New York Rangers fans! Did you like that come from behind win last night or what? Well another day, another Rangers daily poll and this one is a good one. The question is do you think Rangers forward Mats Zuccarello is the team’s most important offensive piece?

Coming into this season, few people expected Zuccarello to have the season he’s having. He’s currently (technically) second on the team in points with 44, behind only Brad Richards. He was on a six game point scoring streak before the Olympic break and has helped turned the Rangers third line into a legitimate offensive threat. You can debate that Zuccarello has been the Rangers best player all season long, but more importantly you can debate that he’s been the Rangers most consistent player all season long. After coming back from the Olympic break Zuccarello was injured and missed four games where the Rangers went 1-2-1. In his first game back last night he tallied an assist to boost his point scoring streak to seven games as the Rangers won 4-2, coincidence? Maybe, maybe not. Aside from all of this, and maybe the most important part, Zuccarello has helped take a once struggling Rangers power play to a top 10 power play in the NHL.

So, what do you think Ranger fans? Is Zuccarello the most important offensive piece? Answer in the poll below!
