Rangers' Roundup: 3/13/14

Good Morning New York Rangers’ fans!! It’s game day again and the team is in Minnesota.

There was big news in “Rangerstown” yesterday. Ryan Haggerty put pen to paper and signed his first deal with the Rangers. The 21-year-old right-winger is straight out of college and grew up a Rangers fan. Haggerty went undrafted through college, thought the scouts were watching. Sather made his move right as his final season at RPI ended.

While Martin St. Louis is still transitioning to the Rangers and Coach Alain Vigneault‘s system, he is still boosting the team. Statistically he has only one point, in the form of an assist, in his first five games as a Ranger. Away from the statistics, he has elevated the rest of the team to think about the way the play.

One player has been silently improving his game in great strides recently. John Moore has looked much more confident, and very strong on the puck. He has also been more prominent with finishing his checks, making his presence known further. It looks as though JMoore is finally hitting his stride as a Ranger, oh what a difference the right partner can make.

That should keep you happy until game time. As always we will have your pre-game and post game reports so stay tuned for everything as the day unfolds. Make sure you are following us on twitter and you like our Facebook page. If there are things you’d like to read, let us know!
