With the win last night, Henrik Lundqvist secured his 301st victory in the NHL as a Ranger and tied the great Mike Richter in games won for the franchise. Since Lundqvist established himself in the league there has been plenty of debate on whether or not Lundqvist is the best goalie to ever play for the Rangers. Obviously, the competition stands tall with Mike Richter and Eddie Giacomin, but Lundqvist can claim the title of best goalie ever for the Rangers, read more on that here.

As we look at our calendar’s, we take not of the fact that the Rangers have only 14 games left this season, it’s obvious to note that the Rangers and their fans are constantly checking the standings to see where the team will end up heading into the playoffs. Where do you think the Rangers will end up? Check on that (and perhaps calm your worries) here.

Last but not least, there’s been a lot of talk of moving St. Louis off of a line with his old friend Brad Richards due to lack of offensive production. Everyone can see that the chemistry is there, but when it comes down to the bottom line St. Louis isn’t producing on his current line, so should Alain Vigneault split the two up? Well Ranger fans! That’s the news for today, have a wonderful Saturday and see you all tomorrow for the game against the San Joe Sharks! Keep checking back on the site for more Rangers reads!

AV did split them up last night. MSL played on Brassards line with Zucarello last night. At least at even strength. All 3 lines played better last night. MSL just didn’t fit right in the spot where Cally was which is what AV tried to do at first. The balance was off. The way it’s set up now is better for the team. At least untill MSL gets comfortable in NY and plays like he’s capable of. He is still helping the team with assists without playing at full strength.
We need more from Nash. He’s been going hard to the net the last few games but hasn’t scored. I think he’s gonna get on a hot streak going into the playoffs.
