New York Rangers Daily Poll 3/22/14

Good afternoon New York Rangers fans! How about that win last night in Columbus? That was a great character win by the Rangers and we get to do it all over again tonight as the Rangers take on the New Jersey Devils! However before we get to the game, lets get to the daily poll! Today’s question is, were Rick Nash‘s actions in Columbus against Sergei Bobrovsky justified?

Rob Leifheit-USA TODAY Sports

Last night was Rick Nash’s return to Columbus, his first return since becoming a member of the New York Rangers. It was an emotional night for him which started and ended by receiving boos from the crowd at nationwide arena. He was also taunted, and slashed by several of the Blue Jackets’ players, most notably the goaltender Bobrovsky, who slashed him twice in last night’s game. At the end of the second period, Nash sprang out on a breakaway and after being pushed into Bobrovsky scored a goal that was immediately waived off. In the ensuing scrum, Bobrovsky decided to throw away Nash’s stick and Nash responded by shoving Bobrovsky, which left a wild array of pushing and shoving by numerous players. So my question to you all is, was Nash’s shove on Bobrovsky justified? If you missed it you can watch it here and let us know.

So Ranger fans, what do you think? Did Nash have a right to shove Bobrovsky? Vote in the poll below and let us know what you think!
