New York Rangers Roundup

New York Rangers' Roundup: 3/22/14

Good morning New York Rangers fans! How about that win over the Columbus Blue Jackets last night? That was a great win for the team and out of it came many news headlines and stories for us to talk about. The first thing to mention is that Glen Sather was at the Nationwide Arena at the game last night and when he was on his way out of the arena he had this to say about the game

Now, the most talked about aspect of last nights game was the physicality and the sheer buildup of emotion. We saw numerous fights last night, Benoit Pouliot and Rick Nash even got involved in the action. The one thing that stood out above all else, was this. Rick Nash shoved Sergei Bobrovsky and a scrum ensued late in the second period after being slashed by Bobrosvky all game long. The ensuing scrum saw Nash and Bobrovsky shove each other and Chris Kreider and Artem Anisimov wrestle to the ground.

Now, enough talk about last night, the Rangers are back at it again tonight in New Jersey to take on the Devils! With the goalie controversy going on at the prudential center, one never knows who might be starting tonight against the Rangers. Well, we know! You can find that out right here. (P.S., It’s Martin Brodeur.)

Onto our last bit of news, is Derek Stepan becoming the Rangers hottest player heading into the playoffs? Has he finally turned his season around and begun to heat up at the right time? Read more on that here and find out.

Well New York Rangers fans! That’s the news for today! Keep checking back on the site for more news and pieces later today!
